OpenWebRX is a browser-based SDR interface. The frequencies and modes actually supported depend on receiver hardware and configuration.
KiwiSDR is a distinct SDR system with a web interface. Its hardware is separate from the software-platform field used for other devices. A Web-888 is not automatically a KiwiSDR.
Frequencies are stored internally in Hz. A band is a frequency range. AM, FM and SSB are different reception modes; available modes are documented for each device.
A suitable browser is enough for a publicly accessible Web-SDR. The operator decides access and any limits.
Without an approved and sufficiently recent check, reachability cannot be stated reliably.
The portal does not start audio. “Listen now” opens the receiver’s original interface.
Private locations are protected. An exact public position requires explicit approval.
